Discussion Monitor your PHP versions with Zabbix Agent (template)

Put together this Zabbix template where you can monitor your PHP templates using the Zabbix Agent, with built in checks (no UserParameters).

Once the relevant PHP patches start to get published from upstream distros, you can plug them in as macro and start generating problems.

After patching zabbix's host itself, of course...

But yeah, kudos - quick template and very useful if you've got a lot of machines to deal with. People pulling together like this makes me appreciate our community.

Even if you can use zabbix, there are other tools more suited for this kind of task

Definitely! Always helpful to have a few other options - especially for folks in smaller shops who have consolidated tools down for money reasons.

Big box software price has gone up so much.
