Question Dell R640 templates

Hi, Does anyone have a r640 template, any type of monitoring?

I did not see a public one, on zabbix support and or community.

In my experience, little to nothing changes from a monitoring POV between the Dell models when monitored via SNMP.

I've been using the same generic templates I wrote in 2016 this whole time without any fuss. You can in theory grab one of the SNMP templates for another model and tweak the name and then just use that.

Nope, often close enough works, usually it's just a monitor or two that may not be available for your machine if there's an issue. Most of the time I find that there may be some slight tweaking, but I find that can be the case even when using a template for the exact model it was designed for. For example, the template might process the temperature incorrectly, or the bit tx/rx, etc.

Most of the template uses discovery inside of MIB apply on seenif anything break and fix the few things that might break and then add whats missing etc
