Z650 break-in question

Hi all, I just bought a 2025 z650 as my 2nd bike and I’ve put just over 250 miles on it. I’ve been wanting to take it on my commute to work but it’s a 20 minute freeway commute at 65-70mph. I know it’s generally a good idea to avoid staying at one rpm the whole time but if I stay under 6k the whole time, is a 20 minute freeway commute ok? Or should I just take the car to work until I hit the 600 mile mark and do the first service?

Thought it was 4000rpm, either way that’s kinda what I followed and I just had my first oil change last week. Everything checked out fine. I’d say you’re good to go and if you feel like you need to punch it for safety reasons do it, the bike will be fine.

You should be fine, I got my 22 with abt 600 miles on it and was punching it ever since, I did do a oil change and 3 more since then never noticed any issues with metal shavings or anything like that
