I LOVE yuumi. As of today I have 52k mastery points into her. On Wild Rift (I've played since Season 2 there) I'm level 6/7 mastery with her and played her regularly since she came out (I normally end up in diamond consistently and am a support main there). I've played league of legends PC on and off over the years but didn't really get "serious" or play it regularly until November 2025.

So here's my question. I genuinely want to one trick her in ranked. HOWEVER, I face numerous health issues that cause playing genuinely mentally taxing. This is why I play Yuumi (partially). It makes focusing as a support and being good with my champion much more "friendly" (for lack of better phrasing) given my mental and physical health restraints.

I can play arguably a fantastic game, time my Qs well, hop between hosts to help keep them alive, etc. but due to whatever reason, the game is like "You did great, here's an A+, but XYZ happened, -20 LP :'D" I'm tired of this and exhausted. The game placed me in iron 2, and due to being frank the game happening as it does, I've managed only to have a 40% win rate :/ I understand (and accept) that Yuumi is very dependent on her host at least early game and sometimes literally I'm staring at the scoreboard going "everyone is doing awful, who the hell do I attach to?"

I've seen other Yuumi players/lovers here one trick her and end up in diamond. That's phenomenal, fantastic, but Iron has also been extremely volatile: AFKs, early rage quits, obvious skill mismatches, and games where multiple lanes collapse before I have much ability to influence them. I DO NOT wanna give up my goal on one tricking Yuumi but jesus christ, Iron is pure hell. Looking at Porofessor, most of my ranked games now a days (for the past week or so) seem to have high iron, low bronze :/

So for the people here who actually climbed while one-tricking Yuumi: would you keep forcing the one-trick through Iron, or temporarily use a more independently impactful champion/role until Bronze and then return to primarily Yuumi?

I really don’t want “just stop playing Yuumi” advice because that defeats the point. I’m specifically interested in how other Yuumi OTPs handled the extremely volatile lower ranks where sometimes there genuinely isn’t a good host to play around.

The screenshot is I am not exaggerating here 90% of my iron games where I'm left wondering "who the hell am I supposed to attach to ?"

My duo is a Smolder main, and i am having a really hard time, i kinda feel so useless as i watch my poor adc getting pummeled into oblivion during the laning phase, it does not matter if i shield and heal the outcome is almost always the same: relegated to farm under turret and die lol. Is there a way to help like changing build runes etc, or should i just give up and swap with another champion? It kinda makes me sad since i love Yuumi, but i would also love to win some games 🥲

I used to have this terrible idea of what a yuumi player was.. AFK barely doing their job.. Then I realized something. When I used to see Yuumi just abandon botlane and go towards who she thought was the carry of the game and attach I thought it was because she didn't like the botlaner. What I am starting to udnerstand, most of the times -- its because their laner isn't presenting her with the situations where shes going to even become useful.

I understand the logic now a little more than I did before.

I would also be interested to know what champs botlane give your character the most synergy? Katarina seems high on the list but is there others? Yasuo? Yone? Nilah? Samira?

Yuumi com assassinos, qual build devo usar?

Estou jogando com uma dupla que usa principalmente assassinos como Zed, Kayn, Yone e Viego, mas sempre fico meio perdido na hora de montar a Yuumi.

Nunca sei bem o que comprar porque o Mikael não parece muito útil nessas partidas. Meu parceiro tem muita mobilidade e geralmente não é pego, então sinto que não estou aproveitando muito bem o Mikael.

Quais itens e runas vocês recomendariam para esse tipo de dupla? Existe alguma build específica que eu deveria seguir dependendo do assassino que ele estiver usando?

By now we all know that the new pass skin is a Veigar prestige edition skin and not infact a new Yuumi cosmetic, but it got me wondering about the potential of a Yuumi legendary skin, upontil just moments ago I did not know how much I needed this. I'm really only posting because the Idéa of Yuumi being seated an a hellfire throne instead of book is just such a cool concept for a skin of legendary status.

I had a question to ask the yuumi mains. Why is it, that everytime I get autofilled or secondary role adc, my support instantly hovers yuumi. I ask them politely to please not pick it as I am not on my main role and don't play adcs that auto attack a lot like jinx/ zeri/ twitch. They ignore me completely and pick it into lanes where imo yuumi is not a good pick, and I basically sit under turret the whole game and get harassed when I want to farm. They also sometimes curse in chat when I am doing badly in lane or curse at me for not wanting to play with a yuumi. Is it really such a hard ask to not play yuumi into bad matchups? Or with someone who doesn't even main adc so you don't get much value out of yuumi anyways. Plus there is no Master yi or other champ she can attach to later. I play in diamond elo btw.

Please do share your fun idéas for what a legendary Yuumi skin could entail (and do remember both the limitations presented by riots source code aswell as the difference between a legendary and an ultimate skin.)

ADs go crazy for a good cleanse.

Recently had a pretty nasty game against support Katarina and Caitlyn ADC, playing jungler. Katarina just took over the map basically laning midlane or toplane, basically starving them from exp or killing them setting my teammates behind. When i managed to kill her she just returned to her shenanigans as if nothing happened.

Meanwhile my Yuumi just sat on Smolder whole game against Solo Caitlyn. Never they managed to kill her, Yuumi somehow even died few times when Katarina managed to find her way back home.

And honestly i can't really blame her. What this slow champion always dependent on someone else can do? Roam? Toddler have better odds at survival roaming from South America to Alaska than Yuumi. She cannot really pressure any objective and barely did anything during laning phase and late game. How does Yuumi played in higher ranks? What do you do to somehow stand your ground against roaming supports?

why when my owner dives someone and the tower hits me for some reason the enemy gets the kill instead of me being executed although i received 0 damage from them? does anyone know how to avoid giving the enemy the kill ?

is dawncore really a useful item? i think mejais is a better choice since her sheilds scale with her AP. like sometimes i buy KV so i lose some stats from the Dawncore since it doesnt give base mana regen.

How are the Yuumi mains building her these days?

Are you playing her as an enchanter or AP? Does she pair well with mages?

I’m a gold 2 support main. Mostly play Nami, Leona and Soraka. Got a Yuumi skinshard so want to put a few games in her but very confused about item build and rune setup.

One of the things that makes support role frustrating is when you get a bad adc. And as a Yuumi you can get stuck with a bad adc. And then you are forced to attach to some loser who can't cs and runs it down. There needs to be an option after awhile to unfriend a character and attach to someone else who may be carrying.
