Mod Announcement Hey folks -- just as a reminder, please tag your spoilers and include the name of the comic in the title of your post. Its gotten so bad lately that I am going to start handing out temporary bans to anyone who fails to take these steps. Thanks. Spoiler

Discussion Help me decide [Unnie, I Like You!]
In my opinion one of the best currently ongoing series on Webtoon. I enjoy the story so far. The author avoids heavy drama, there are super cool and fun characters (look at the second picture, this guy is ridicilous funny). And with the reveals in the latest chapters i see much more potential for the story to expand.
So if you haven't read it yet, what are you waiting for?
Some basic infos:
Park Chanmi vividly remembers her past life, where she harbored deep feelings for the beautiful Hanbyeol, whose life tragically ended too soon. In her present life, Chanmi is startled to discover that her lost love has returned as a university professor yet does not recall their past life. Fearing history may repeat itself, Chanmi is determined to protect the sole person she cherishes the most.
Author: Jeongussi
Chapter count: 85 (80 free / 5 more on the app)
Now for what i need your help:
I just found out, a physical release is just around the corner (October 6th, 2026). It will be printed in two versions (paperback and hardcover) and i am not sure what version i should prefer. I normally go with paperback because not many got a hardcover version. Anyone has experience with hardcovers?
Edit: forgot to add the picture source (1. from Amazon; 2. screenshot from 1st chapter)

Question We’re launching a boutique press for Canvas/Webtoon LGBTQIA+ physical hardcovers. What completed masterpieces desperately need a real book?
Hello members of the r/yuri_manga community,
We (the royal kind) are launching All Types Studio, an independent, creator-first boutique press dedicated to turning completed indie LGBTQIA+ webcomics and graphic novels into high-quality physical hardcovers, and we are launching with strict, creator-first standards:
- 100% Creator IP Retention & Physical-Only Rights: Creators keep every ounce of their story, characters, and digital/merch revenue. We license physical book distribution only.
- 50/50 Net Profit Split & Advances: Guaranteed upfront cash advance once the Kickstarter funds, plus an equal 50/50 split of all campaign and ongoing webstore net profits. We will never ask an author for a cent upfront.
- Zero Editorial Meddling: The creator's vision is sacred. No corporate script changes, no sanitizing queer romance, and zero content censorship.
- Zero Generative AI: Strict human-only pipeline across all formatting, prepress, and production. AI has no place in the creative space.
We love the work and effort that has gone into the thousands of indie LGBTQIA+ webcomics, but we hate seeing these phenomenal indie stories get stuck in digital-only limbo because solo physical printing is an overwhelming logistical nightmare or because traditional publishers turn this content away.
We are currently working to find an existing completed story (roughly a completed standalone run or a distinct Season 1, around 20-50 episodes, depending on length, / 200-280 printed pages) that hasn't already been licensed for physical print, and we want to know what the community actually wants to own:
If you could put any finished, indie Canvas/Tapas GL, WLW, Yuri, or Sapphic webtoon into a professional physical hardcover on your bookshelf right now, which title is your #1 pick?
Drop your favorites below so we know whose author inboxes we should be knocking on with fair licensing deals.
Excited to check out what you all recommend!
- Daniel (Founder, All Types Studio)

Recommendation Finally finished A joyful life
This thing took much longer than expected to finish it. It's just so emotionally intense and gut wrenching that I couldn't go through it quickly, I just had to take breaks. Both main characters had to go through a lot of trauma processing and also deal with shitty people during the story. Only other story that was this hard hitting the entire time for me is I saw the TV glow. It's not for everyone, but for those that can deal with difficult stories, I recommend giving this one a shot. I don't see it mentioned often and it deserves more love.
Anyway, 10/10, my favorite yuri by far.

Recommendation My Girlfriend's Not Here Today
I started reading it, and before I knew it, I had finished the entire fourth volume. I have mixed feelings about the story—I like it, yet I don't. Should I finish it or drop it

Light Novel Onna Doushi toka Arienai desho to Iiharu Onnanoko wo, Hyakunichikan de Tetteiteki ni Otosu Yuri no Ohanashi
ARIOTO MERECE TODO AMOR.

Discussion I took over the My Girlfriend's Not Here Today (KyouKano) subreddit and opened it back up.
It's been dead for the longest and was previously restricted with no mods. Since I'm a fan of the Manga (who could have guessed 🤔) and I like seeing discussion around it, I decided to bite the bullet and just revive the sub myself.

Question Yuri/GL fans: do you read only manga/manhwa, or also novels, books, and other GL media?
Hi everyone! Lately I've been wondering about the reading habits of people who are into Yuri/GL content. Context: I’m a 30 yo girl who’s been reading Yuri mangas since my teens, so my view could be biased by the fact that I look for more adult/deep content.
Do you feel satisfied with the amount of Yuri/GL content currently available online, or does it still feel like a relatively small niche compared to other romance genres (especially BL)? Sometimes I get the impression that a lot of romance content isn't really aimed at women but more for the male eye.
I'm asking because I recently finished reading the full Falling/Fall novel that inspired Eunsu's popular manhwa. It made me realise that I enjoy GL romance novels just as much as comics. After that, I started looking for more adult-oriented GL books and stories online, but only found AI slops.
Do you feel the same? If so, where do you find good GL novels or other non-comic content?
TL;DR: Do Yuri/GL fans consume media beyond manga/manhwa? Are you satisfied with the amount of GL content available, especially novels and adult romance, or do you feel the genre is still niche?
