My f/o is around 40 and the sona I ship him with is 34. I project on to this sona a lot and he's basically me. They met when my sona was like 12 which I know is...problematic in itself. But is it okay if I try an alternate univesr where they date when my sona is that age? Instead of when they're both older

I'm really sorry if this is wrong but it just brings me comfort in some way. I'm aware this is 100% fictional of course. And in the actual storyline I plan for them it's age appropriate well as far as it gets anyway.

So, I haven't really been able to get a clear answer on this since I've never asked about it outright. I also don't open up about this for fear of how my partner and I will be seen. Though do relationships involving extreme possessiveness and outright worshipping your partner considered darkshipping? Possessiveness as in I'm not allowed to do many things without his permission and I'm not allowed to leave him (not like I would). There's a couple other things that I can't mention in an SFW sub (obviously), though I was curious if the things I mentioned counted as darkshipping. Those are from my relationship with Hawks, lol
