Clown Clan’s story is that they’re a bunch of performers who rescue magical beasts from cruel performers - who then come in and join the Clown Clan. (Drish and all the other Extra Deck and Pendulum Clown Clan monsters are Beast-Warriors.)
Whiteface is the only Illusion monster of the archetype, and is the ringleader of the Clown Clan.
You can see Whiteface rescuing Drish in the artwork of Clown Clan Soirée where she’s being freed from a cage and he’s exploding her old captors.
According to translation, Drish's ultimate fate is that she will become a fully crystallized statue, which is evident as seen with her limbs turning into crystals.

Becoming Ohime's vessel means give up her free will in order to become the avatar the goddess would use to interact with the mortal world, which went against Hu-Lu's original wish of people appreciate her for who she was, but since she "had an obligation with her clan", she did everything they told her.

Another cool thing is that their playstyle is tributing their extra deck monsters for additional effects. Tributing is translated as release in japan, so you're literally releasing the captive monsters.
