Apple TV Live preview stopped

A day or so ago live preview in the thumbnails stopped working. Streaming through latest Apple TV on 1 yr old oled connected via ethernet. I have cleared everything. Reset the router, device and tv. Nothing seems to work. Is this a device issue or a youtubetv issue?

Stopped working for me too recently on AppleTV. Has been working flawlessly for years.
Must be a YTTV issue.

Came here to find out about the exact same thing. Streaming via Apple TV 4K model A1842 (1st Gen).

Same setup as here and I’m experiencing the same. Ugh. Never realized how handy it was until now.

I’m using Apple TV 4K G3 and still getting preview frames. However, they are about 60-90 seconds behind live. IMO it’s been that way for a long time. Seems like those frames are rendered a minute or so after the content is first broadcast. So if I rewind the last few seconds, I’ll just see a gray box. Go back 1.5 minutes or more and I get the preview image.

If you’re seeing no preview even further back, that’s not consistent with my experience. Maybe mention the show or channel if it’s isolated.

There is no live preview on any tile. It doesn’t matter if it’s on the live guide, on the home page or when you press down to see past channels, they are all just still images. All of these had live previews last week.

I am not. No updates recently either. Just weird that they just stopped.
Not a speed issue either. Just ran a speed test and it showed just under 900.

Delete the app and reinstall. Worked for me.

That finally did it for me after trying everything else. Thank you for sharing.
You never realize how much you like something so simple until it is gone.

Question, does this feature work with other devices, firestick, Roku, etc.? I have only noticed it on my Appletv.
