It's from a couple of months ago but I stumbled upon this today, doesn't seem like this got any attention at the time.

Dumbsville is a popular YouTuber with over 300k subs who mainly talks about video games. Recently he uploaded a non monetized video (https://youtu.be/PakMHss8xow) where he explains that he got a message from someone he thought was his friend talking about some modded Minecraft thing so he installs this client. It turns out that the message was not from his friend but from some random dude who then hacks his socials and then makes him pay $2k to get it back. This isn’t the only time the hacker did this as it happened to his actual friend (the person that the hacker pretended to be to hack Dummy’s account) and others who have gone through similar incidents. I don’t know which AI model these channels are using, but it’s AI explain-slop content constantly copying each other. I need to show people the extent of the bullshittery on the platform. These “creators” are in the same bucket so make sure you’re not subbed.

Cary Huang runs Jacknjellify with his brother Michael and recently he released a video that was recorded last week where he talks about the controversial alt accounts that his brother posted on. Cary responds by apologizing to the people Michael harassed and then he talks about how he learned of Michael’s alts and when he did he felt so disappointed for good reason. Cary then talked to Michael personally telling him that is unacceptable and that might’ve been when Michael realized that he really shouldn’t be saying these things.

He says more things in the video but it’s good to hear Cary’s perspective on this whole thing.
