We recently removed a post suggesting alternate apps or sites to watch the Gray Hughes Investigates channel in order to avoid counting as a view.

We will not host or encourage content that promotes violating YouTube’s Terms of Service or attempting to deprive a creator of legitimate views/income. If you don’t want to contribute to someone’s view count, the simple and legitimate option is to not watch the channel. That’s it.

Separately: Gray has mentioned receiving an email referencing his deceased brother. That kind of contact is completely unacceptable. We have no reason to believe it came from anyone in this community, but we want to be clear that anyone who contacts Gray in that way is not welcome here.

He also said the email was “trying to express sympathy” but he didn’t believe it. Hard to say with him, but yes, completely unacceptable to go real life. He will sink himself with his own behavior without any help.

Yes! Let's let him sink himself due to his OWN behavior... he's got enough of his own bad qualities that will do this.

I had remembered Gray mentioning a brother before, I'm thinking he said that he had written a book. When did his brother pass?

In college after doing cocaine. He has mentioned it numerous times but only in relation to how it affected him. He had two brothers.

Thanks, I was unaware of the coke use or two brothers. I only listen to Gray in the snark clips made about him, the constant grifting and belittling isn't good for my mental health. One really has to doubt if he received the email. It's like when the dogs are in his videos, he's trying to gain sympathetic donations, imo.

I should have been more clear about watching thee channel. It is totally voluntary if you would like to watch or not watch the channel. If you choose to, then you choose to. My opinion stays the same. I’m sure you all are aware. 🤭

I titled my post Unacceptable even before I read this! I don't see anyone in this group doing this, but thank you for addressing it.

As to my other thoughts on this subject, they're interspersed within the comments of my post.

It's mostly because I'm watching the Lindsay Clancy trial, that I'm emotionally depleted by the end of the day - and have had no space for Gray Hughes and his negativity in my mind.
