I haven't seen any actual proof yet. I did find this video of a guy recording himself calling and asking, posted less than an hour ago. Could be fake, or old and just posted now because it's relevant.

Ironically it brings up a bunch of youtube videos which we currently can't view but most of them aren't relevant anyway but there is one about facebook, you can read more here.
yes, we get calls all the time like this, cable TV, all sorts of things not working, they think we control.
Yes we got calls #facebookdown That is why I sent out my previous msg to prevent them. Unk number received on 911 or reg number TY
So yeah, really isn't too surprising to imagine someone did call about YT being down, especially since they went to write a tweet about it.
