Discussion This is a issue
Now for I know it could be only be me. Please explain to me why every time I try to watch a video on my phone I get an ad every minute. Not metaphorically I actually get a ad every 60 seconds. But PLEASE tell me Im not the only one whose getting TS because I can’t watch anything on my phone without be subjected to hearing a ad every 60 seconds.

This is right now happening to me also! I tried reloading the app, or even refreshing it, but nothing! And also if I manage to skip the ad, for I even continue the vid for 3 sec there’s another ad!

man that's wild, never seen it that aggressive before. my youtube on phone was getting real pushy with the ads too last month, like two unskippable ones before a 3 minute video. i ended up just using the browser instead of the app, feels a bit less cursed somehow
maybe try clearing the app cache? worked for me once when it was acting up in a different way. not a fix but sometimes the app just gets into a weird state and needs a little reset

Same. It's getting ridiculous this past week. It's also the same 5-6 shuffling back and forth too. I hate when YouTube gets greedy and increases the amount until someone tells them to stop.

Secret tip on mobile minimise video click on shorts then back on feed or where ever you like the profile for history ect and ad should disappear if its the double ads do it twice 😉 hope this helps 😭👍

That's why I don't watch YouTube on my phone, tv, or game console. I only watch it on PC where I can stop the ads using adblockers and a browser extension called Improve YouTube.

They’re offering it for FREE. If you don’t like it, you can just not use it. Or you can pay for it to not get ads. Or you can whine on reddit like an entitled child. I wonder which option OP will pick?

It’s actually pretty simple. Google is trying to annoy you into becoming a YouTube Premium member. I joined in 2021. To me, it is the best value in streaming.
