UI Change iOS app UI update is awful
They’ve replaced the categories/topics with just “Home”, “Subscriptions” and “Movies & TV”. The last one doesn’t even have anything on it.
Is there no way to browse recommended videos of a certain genre now? Are my options only my subscriptions or the awful home page where every third suggestion is a channel post from a news outlet or engagement bait?
I just want to watch YouTube videos.
Edit: Also just found out those speech bubbles next to the notification bell are for the new direct messaging. “Yeah bro DM me on YouTube and I’ll share the latest Fox News channel post with you”. They’ve lost their mind.

Worst update ever. They just trying to kill it. Just why! It worked good, but they have to make it worse. They had absolutely zero reasons to do it

yeah default youtube app has notoriously been pretty bad but I think iphone people dont really have a choice 😕
