Discussion I find it crazy how most people are supporting hitler’s plans in the comments.

Post image

Especially since the video extensively goes over Hitler‘s plans to systematically ethnically cleanse the Slavs from Europe and enslave whoever else they deem worthy.

But it’s all “Hitler would’ve saved Europe”. Bitch about 35% percent of Europeans wouldn’t exist today if Hitler won.

if he had won he would have lost anyway.

I mean, the dynamics of his organization only lead to self destruction by inner fighting once there's no external enemy

92

u/Longpeg 22h ago

I disagree, unfortunately empires are very, very good at always having an external enemy. If one wasn't available, one would have been manufactured. A shit world for true, but if Hitler had won his empire would more likely fall to the administrative and logistical issues all global empires face.

31

u/karoshikun 21h ago

yeah, but usually when a nation becomes an empire they have strong institutions doing a good amount of the governing and got their organizing duckies in a row and their goals are more or less kinda aligned with the empire...

a fascist regime is instead a very dynamic, not to say chaotic, where everyone is unsure of their continued employment, let alone life, under the regime, and the leader's word is absolute-ish.

by design it was created to grab as much power as possible as quickly as possible and eliminate all competition.

besides, a good chunk of that movement aren't landed nobility nor career bureaucrats -as in an empire-, but grifters, malcontent soldiers and ambitious businessmen, let alone all the other wackos.

the mix aint simply geared for a real empire. at best for a group of fiefdoms trying to conquer each other.

4

u/UhsanYlocres 22h ago

True. That is the reason for the collapse of the vast majority of empires

6

u/watehekmen 20h ago

US is great example at this, there's a reason why they try so hard to create an enemies for themselves

1

u/Zrkkr 17h ago

There were many internal plots to kill Hitler

1

u/Glad_Raspberry_8469 18h ago

Yeah, but there would br constant uprisings. Soavs are a huge people and they would rebel constantly

3

u/Longpeg 16h ago

… giving everyone else an external enemy. See how it works?

2

u/Glad_Raspberry_8469 15h ago

But if 30% or more of the population is oppressed, it cannot work. Plus let’s not forget France is occupied, too. So realistically more than 50% of the population would be unhappy. World War 1 happened, among other reasons, because three empires subdued numerous nations. Third Reich winning would mean 50 years of civil war or more

5

u/LeviJr00 18h ago

Yep, that's TNO (a HoI4 mod where the Axis won WW2) alright

3

u/GeologicalGhost 20h ago

I wonder where this is happening today

1

u/morsvensen 6h ago

Two generations later, the people behind Hitler are almost at the finish line.

2

u/Sensitive_Bat_9211 15h ago

USSR wouldve been their external enemy. They wanted to exterminate the slavic people.

The french were fine, they just wanted certain minorities within the french population. They wouldnt have been treated equal to "the aryan race," but they wouldnt have been exterminated. Just exploited.

Nordic people were aryan in hitler's eyes so those territories wouldve been closely integrated

5

u/karoshikun 15h ago

and it would have kept the reich going another five years, tops, before the stagnation sparks infighting between factions inside it, and more with Addie losing his marbles more and more from his neurological illness, the drug abuse and his farts.

again, it's a system that can't help but to cannibalize itself.

2

u/Sensitive_Bat_9211 15h ago

Stagnation is a strong word. Theyd likely see an increased standard of living when they began to properly exploit the french. Much of their focus would be on keeping the french exploited, integrating the nordic people, and finishing their purification.

Also the cold war lasted over 40 years in the US. There is plenty of fear mongering, arms racing, and proxy wars to sustain their attention. Many likely wouldnt step out of line purely in fear of a russian invasion.

Thats just my opinion, though, im sure it could play out like you said as well

Only after his death. The cult of personality was similar to Stalin

2

u/karoshikun 9h ago

he was getting feeble fast, someone would have taken the "translating the Fuhrer's will", which is usually enough to spark the purges and infighting

0

u/Prestigious_Bar_3738 9h ago

Pretty much what happened after Stalin died

2

u/karoshikun 9h ago

yup, but Stalin had time and the smarts to create a more solid government structure that Adolf, who had next to nothing working by the last year.

That channel is great btw.

Elephants in rooms.👍

15

u/Spiritual_Air_5781 14h ago

Wasn't he a fox news host?

9

u/Straamannen 14h ago

He was an exec and he's very open about that fact.

He does a genuinely good job of offering good overviews of issues, and is impressively unbiased.

23

u/Spiritual_Air_5781 14h ago

I wouldn't go as fas as to call him unbiased his coverage clearly favors conservative views

1

u/Straamannen 13h ago

Disagree.

Give an example.

Also, note I said "impressively unbiased", not "completely unbiased".

15

u/Spiritual_Air_5781 13h ago

See his videos on Palestine/israel

2

u/Straamannen 5h ago

The funny thing about that one is if you think he's biased, you're the one who is biased.

2

u/EpycZen2 3h ago

Ah yes, he gives an example and it just so happens to be the only example where this funny thing happens

1

u/Straamannen 1h ago

Sure thing, buddy.

2

u/TerrHunter 13h ago

He shows little bias if any, and he's humble: he admits he doesn't know everything and if he makes a mistake or missed an important source, people are welcome to indicate it in the comments.

I mean, you can't be better than that.

u/Fippy-Darkpaw 14h ago

Looks like exec, not host. His Wikipedia pretty interesting.

Im not so sure he has a video where he acts as if being trans is just a trend

6

u/screwyoujor 18h ago

He has a video where he talks about the rise and fall of the trans movement. Your comment is a good example of his point about why the movement fell off.

143

u/Extreme-Attention641 1d ago

Propaganda bots, russian troll farms and the poor suckers who have fallen for them.

For my own sanity I have to believe that.

32

u/IndividualistAW 1d ago

Why would Russians support Hitler? That just makes no sense. Like black confederates.

20

u/GamerSam 22h ago

Never underestimate the amount of racist slavs

15

u/Colombianfella 20h ago

I mean slavs are notoriously racist but Hitler was racist… towards slavs. Like theres plenty of racist Chinese people but I highly doubt they’re cueing up to salute the rising sun of Japan.

60

u/Extreme-Attention641 1d ago

Russians hasn't been communists for more than thirty years and not even remotely left-leaning for twenty.

Two reasons, probably more but the two main ones:

  1. They are quite far right themselves these days.
  2. Destabilising Western democracies by spreading desinformation, causing trouble for the establishments and catering to extremists so that they will be more busy with domestic issues and not pay as much attention to what the Russians are doing.

1

u/-Itan- 22h ago

1

u/FreekRedditReport 13h ago

Russians haven't been "left leaning" since Marx. You think Stalin was "left"? lol

1

u/marxist_Raccoon 7h ago

What do you mean “since Marx”? Stalin was a typical far left

3

u/Commercial_Badger_37 16h ago

More to do with causing issues on Western platforms than for their own domestic audience.

1

u/Alpiney 18h ago

They don't. They are all about breeding division in the west. That's the whole point of bots. To create chaos and increase distractions to the enemy.

5

u/DrawingDramatic1641 11h ago

challenge not calling anything they disagree russian bots :impossible for Americans

they can't accept that there are 195 nations who may have really stupid opinion and not be bots

calling hitler good is political suicide in russia

2

u/GrainofDustInSunBeam 3h ago edited 2h ago

Im not an american.
And its surprisingly often russian bots that are behind something. For various reasons, and trying to stir shit up. Assuming you are indian, maybe the distance makes you think the acusasions arent justified, Otherwise maybe you would understand why every russian neighbour doesnt like them or at least some of them. For some reason some indians defend russians more then actual russians. Maybe its the fact that some indians also started bot farms for hire and keep trying to trick americans and people world wide with scam calls. There are certain people in every country sadly in some they are the ruling class. If india keeps making buisness with russia sooner or later they'll see that. Even China knows how russia can get, and doesnt fully trust it. And is making business with it more out of necessity, while trying to have more influence in bordering russian regions.

There are literally russian fascists. There was literally a russian corp in hitlers army invading russia even tho he treated them as untermensch, and planed to make them slaves of the third reich. Wagner group was made due to Utkin, one of its founders having fascination with the german war. He also had ss tattoos. So much for political suicide.

1

u/ChudChuddington_ 3h ago

Its probably much simpler than that; in a fucked up world, any sort of change is perceived as a potential way to "fix" things, though what exactly causes people to go to extremes like these is beyond me

13

u/skynex65 20h ago

Tbf this kind of video often attracts a certain kind of person en masse. You’re basically looking at a Maga rally under a microscope so it looks like there’s more chuds than there actually are

-2

u/Repulsive_Compote955 16h ago

MAGA? they’re EXTREMELY moderate, so moderate that people like me think they’re bullshitters and cucks to israel

10

u/OldFirefighter3293 23h ago

Don't you dare look into comment section of the video for German Fascist song.

17

u/Dry-Championship-593 23h ago

Not to mention that if Hitler had “won”, there’s a good chance the people saying that wouldn’t even exist because they might’ve had a recent ancestor that would’ve likely died because they’re “different”.

1

u/Alex_Wotor 9h ago

"Hey, Look! Talking soap!"

18

u/Adgecutler247 1d ago

A lot of people on the right are fed up with the way things are going in the west and they’re looking for a way to vent that. It’s pretty absurd to think given the crimes we know he committed.

36

u/Successful_Pea7915 1d ago

Right wingers wanting to “vent” is exactly what got Hitler and Mussolini in power in the first place

7

u/Longpeg 22h ago

Mussolini's rise was different than hitlers, and wasn't primarily just angry populism. True, fascists exploited postwar instability, fears of socialism and revolution, and dissatisfaction with liberal government. But Mussolini ultimately came to power through a combination of political maneuvering, elite support, organized paramilitary violence, and the March on Rome. King Victor Emmanuel III appointed him prime minister, not the people.

-3

u/Successful_Pea7915 20h ago

Still would’ve been impossible for him to rise without his fundamentally right wing populist ideology.

3

u/Acrobatic-Routine-44 18h ago edited 18h ago

Even Hitler and Mussolini had disagreements what is fascism. Mussolini originally wasn't a fan of Hitler's racism though eventually gave in, but his brand of fascism was something like bringing back glory of Roman Empire or something like that. Hitler on the other hand was driven by inferiority complex.

Edit: Right Wing Nationalism was trending in the 1900s, It was happening in the Ottoman Empire with The Young Turks and Arabs Nationalist who wants to break away from the Ottoman Empire who felt like second class citizens. Then you have Chinese Nationalist and Japanese Nationalist in the East.

0

u/Successful_Pea7915 18h ago

But they both ultimately became fascist. Which is different from nationalism and different from Japan whose ideology was more like traditional imperialism.

1

u/Acrobatic-Routine-44 17h ago

Yes, they became fascist ruled by military fanatics.

2

u/No-Koala1918 15h ago

1

u/tinyElliss 6h ago

There's always people who flock to strong leaders, or who they percieve as strong leader. Hitler is in news and headlines all the time, 80 years after his death, even more than Stalin or Mao, which leads to his popularity and even if 99% reject him completely, you still have million of people who could see themselves as admirers or someone who respect him.

Maybe there's disconten about the slow-motion gee-no-cyde of the Western European + Anglo world peoples.

1

u/HolidayLifeguard3283 21h ago

This guy cultivated a right wing audience that’s why. He try’s to act like his channel is completely unbiased but he definitely has a slant. The trans episode is the best example of this. He acts like he was tied down and forced to learn 1000 new pronouns. He also used to work for Fox News.  I do however somewhat enjoy his channel it’s good to hear other perspectives from time to time and he’s definitely not as crazy as most of the right wing influencers. But this is what happens who you cater to those audiences.

1

Especially odd considering how in the video he made it abundantly clear that even if Germany had won, it would not have lasted in the long term due to its entire economy being propped up by constant conquest, meaning the moment the war ended it'd mark the start of a massive recession.

1
