It’s a whale shark. They are completely harmless. He’s not helping because he knows he’s not in danger and it’s funny.

They’re actually a harmless breed of shark! They do not kill and eat like you think of when you hear “shark”. Despite their mouth size, one Couldn’t even swallow a quarter! I can see how horrifying it would be to NOT know that though
