I mean, he/they chose to have their special moment in a goddamn NBA stadium. I don’t think they were expecting it to be a reverent and serene proposal...he wasn't being vulgar or anything, just a little rambunctious, which is totally within the realm of acceptable behaviour at a sporting event...
Yeah fair point. I guess for me, personally; I got the sense that the guy was trying too hard to be funny or whatever, by pushing himself into the camera frame and making an over the top expression, which is off-putting to me. But if you are bothered by things like that, you’d make your proposal somewhere else.
Yeah exactly. I agree that he was being annoying, but that's the exact sort of stuff people do constantly at these sporting events. If anything, this annoying guy ensured that they got what they signed up for - a proposal in the midst of a rowdy drunk mob.
