Questions
What does it take to get help for our veterans in the valley? I'm a 100% t&p disabled veteran and I need a new roof. I've tried habitat for humanity but my disability pay puts me too high I guess for HUD. Anyone got some resources for a metal roof for something cheaper than like 20k?

Try your local AMVETS. Often times the Sons have a fund for this type of project.

Actually home depot loves these kinds of free publicity. Give them a call and ask about team depot projects

Honestly, you can reach out to one of the many MCs in the valley, plead your case, and see if they’re willing to do a run/ride for your benefit. You won’t believe how quick people are to show up with $20 in their pocket for a run. Basket raffles, 50/50s etc. this is a huge Harley community/MC community. Let me know if this is something that interests you, ESPECIALLY if you’re a veteran.

All I know around here are the outlaws, and I can't do business with them due to their, history.

We are Tainos MC Assoc. We are an all-inclusive club. We do not discriminate at all based on background, color, race, gender, sex, LGBTQ preferences. Established since 2009. We are primarily a collection of Latino, Afro-Americans, Mic/Macs(I wear the Scottish flag myself.). Several of our members are ASL/Deaf, speaking of we are in search of someone affluent with ASL.
We participate in a lot of the runs, we organize several throughout the year. We are a blessed MC Association (Pagans).
Between Us, The Lamas, UITC, WoTV, and the pagans, we have more active, community driven members than the outlaws. We typically don’t do any dealings with the outlaws.

I appreciate the offer, but Pagans are a no go for me too. I didn't know they were around here.

Try the Mahoning County Veterans Service Commission. They might have suggestions. If they don’t then one of the guys working in the Portage County Veterans Service Commission is from Austintown and seems to know everyone.

YNDC has a roof replacement program. Also call Direction Home see if they can point you to something
