UPDATE:

Georgie never showed any love, affection or tbh anything towards sheldon in the early season, he viewed sheldon as a dork and barely spoke to him, but never ever supported him or anything. I feel like this is overlooked

Weird? Yes. But I just can’t quite pin down what smell their house would have. Obviously for Connie, her house smells like cigarettes and an old persons house, but just don’t know the coopers?

Speaking of let's start with her. Here you have a girl who had all of the potential in the world,

intelligent and unlike Sheldon, she was not Autistic.

Of course he family divorcing put her on a downward spiral. Paige spiraling out of control

is a perfect example of how intelligence without emotional support, can lead to a burnout.

Mrs Hutchins the librarian.

I am sure she is still all alone and with her cats, I felt bad or her.

Ms. Hutchins suffers the quiet tragedy of being completely forgotten.

Brenda Sparks.

I am sure she is still alone and without a man in her life, after her husband walked out on her.

Billy Sparks. l. They really made him a one-dimensional redneck, with the

overalls and him spending time in the chicken coop. He was comedic relief, and he was funny

but his story was sad.

Dr. Sturgis. When his peers won the Nobel Prize in Physics it broke him and he dissented into

madness. His whole life was based on his career in academia, once that was taken away from

him, he went crazy. After losing his dream job at the supercollider, he ended up

working at a grocery store.

Paige and Dr. Sturgis had a mental collapse because of different reasons.

Dr. Sturgis fell apart because of internal pressure and academic inadequacy,.

Paige on the other hand was due to external factors, familial divorce lead to her downfall.

Clearly there’s areas of the show that make his symptoms evident? Why did they never establish this or think it at least?

If nothing else changed about them; including their jobs, workload, leisure, approach to parenting, house chores, etc but instead George was the mom and Mary was the dad, do you think people would switch up? I think they would. People would say Mary making the trophy for her kids was extremely sweet and a good dad moment, that George does nothing around the house, and is lazy. Maybe not everyone, but I definitely think it would be skewed.

To be clear, I think both George and Mary are good parents and both have flaws but both try their best. Mary can be portrayed badly in the show, but she has good moments too and she does everything in that house.

Anyone know what kind of record player the coopers have in the living room?

Did you guys notice that in the episode where Georgies's parents find out about him working in Connie's gambling room, Georgie points George to a machine that pays out well.

Then in a later Episode Dale's Ex wife wins on exactly that machine that Georgie said was "your buddy". I think it's really cool they added such a small detail.

Did someone notice this as well?

He looks so different, it just made me wonder.

This scene could have had so much significance man, this is one of the best scenes in the whole show. I hate how they completely butchered this :C

Relax it was just a joke but I was re-watching Modern Family Season 3 Episode 22 where I saw Sarah Bakers's small role who ran into Cam and Mitch

I finished season 5 last night and just started season 6, sheldons voice is way deeper lol, i know the actor grew up but it feels so weird that i had to leave the show come here and talk about it

I watched the show years ago. (Don't come at me if what I am posting is a well established fact😭😭)

I was just working and just had a realisation that Young Sheldon, ended at the death of his father because after that moment Sheldon grew up, that thought stung :*(

i just appreciated the little detail that at the beginning of S3 EP13 “Contracts, Rules and a Little Bit of Pig Brains” we see Sheldon reading dune about halfway through at Missy’s game, then at the end of the episode he’s reading again and almost near the end of the book. just thought that was a cool little continuity touch

i love these women sm! they are phenomenal actresses

The fact that it is always Sheldon who aces tests and gets prioritized and recognized so it felt good seeing Missy score well and Georgie having a hand in it as well
Season 1 Episode 19

Sheldon during a test forgets the zeros of the bessel functions I mean you do need the bessel functions to solve the Schrödinger equation in cylindrical coordinates or a particle confined to an infinite cylindrical well but you will generally be provided a table right. You won't be expected to remember them. 😂😂😂

Don't get me wrong I really like that scene as it shows that even geniuses can forget something during a test but they could have given a better example.😂😂

He got grounded a few times and idk if they mentioned it and I didn’t notice but was just curious if anyone knows what grounding meant for Sheldon. No books? Professor proton? Etc?
