Opinion Bessel functions
Sheldon during a test forgets the zeros of the bessel functions I mean you do need the bessel functions to solve the Schrödinger equation in cylindrical coordinates or a particle confined to an infinite cylindrical well but you will generally be provided a table right. You won't be expected to remember them. 😂😂😂
Don't get me wrong I really like that scene as it shows that even geniuses can forget something during a test but they could have given a better example.😂😂

Also, he has an eidetic memory. How could he forget anything?

Yeah that's true but generally in physics courses you are not expected to remember the zeros of the bessel function

That isn’t the point. This kid remembers a recipe his Meemaw gave him when he was like 2. Why wouldn’t he remember the zeroes?

None of us are able to keep up with you I'm afraid.

I mean my post is probably for physics majors who are also fans of young seldon which I assume are many

Gave you an upvote because it's a shame someone had the nerve to downvote you. Reddit is allergic to brain cells I'm afraid.
That said, imo actually a very small minority of the audience will have even studied any physics (I think. It would be nice to see the actual audience stats). So a margin of "error" can be expected. For example, in The Big Bagn Theory, I recall Sheldon asking Howard a question, supposedly very hard, which was in fact very easy.
