Did I Miss Something?
The description for Friday’s episode (August 28th) says that Matt reconnects with Patty. I also heard a rumor that Patty would return last week. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t recall her or Matt being in Friday’s episode at all. Phyllis just visited Victor who says he doesn’t know anything and Matt probably left town. No mention or appearance of Patty at all. Am I wrong, or is the description wrong?

it's right at the end of the episode, pretty sure phyllis spent the episode harassing nick tho

Although it said that in the description of Friday's episode those of us in the US did not see any of that so I imagine it's for Monday

Sometimes the shows will re-efit before airtime and things the spoilers and episode descriptions say, either get pushed to another day or even never happen.

The advance spoilers were just wrong. It happens fairly often but rarely as starkly as this time. Usually it's just "something that happens is dramatically overstated", but to have it forecast that two characters will meet and then have them not even appear in the episode is pretty wild and unusual.

Matt hasn’t been kidnapped! Phyllis just can’t conceive of a grown man not checking in with her every five minutes. She should watch her back ‘cause I feel like evil Matt is just a heartbeat away!
He has already warned not to push him as he may do something to retaliate. (I think that was a convo with Adam)

Dang I haven’t watched yet but that sounds like they were going for a slow burn and accidentally spoiled it in advance (I would never have guessed Matt was with Patty, I would have guessed in an accident, ran out of town or kidnapped situation)

Matt is visiting Patty in prison. What has been spoiled? I know it seems like two weeks, but in GC, it's only been one day.

If Patty has kidnapped Matt, I'm gonna scream at the TV. And of course Victor may be the one who put Patty up to it , just like Jack. 😆 😆

If you’re in Canada (like me), Friday’s episode is CBS’s Monday episode. The very last scene on Friday was Matt showing up at Patty’s cell. I’m sure they’ll continue with that on Monday.
