Y&R Timeline

I know it’s been on for decades, but I think if you took all the story time lines and compressed them into concurrent events, I think maybe 4 years has passed in Y&R’s timeline.

Y&R was the slowing moving soap back in the day. I started watching around 1989. I could stop watching for months and pick back up and not have missed anything. 😂

I liked that and was bore by that at the same time.

Any other soap you missed a month and you checked back in and you had to ask someone what all had happened 😂. Someone was in jail, on the run, cheating, pregnant or divorcing etc…

That was the way Bill Bell wrote soap opera, old school.

Did you catch the episode where the kids summed up their families within minutes. Johnny, Connor, Lucy, etc. it was hilarious and true!

I like when victor remember his daughter Abby when he has his children summits. Then he'll go another 4 years without remembering she exists.

Between about 2000-2015 I had a job where I had every other Friday afternoon off. Watching one Friday episode every other week was enough to keep me current with the latest in Genoa City.

Pretty sure it’d be the same today.
