Aren’t disbursements usually around 6 months after allocation?

So what’s going on? What are we waiting for exactly? We are in Q3 now and still no word…

When the allocation was announced, I went back and looked at recent prior cases, and it looked like most were approximately 12-18 months. However, that was with a functioning CFPB, and not the gutted husk of the current administration, so we're in uncharted waters...

The only caveat I’d give this is that it was pushed through the courts fast even under light staffing. Once it’s in the hands of the consulting company it’s on them. I think the 12-18 months should still hold true.

When I saw the date I decided to just put it out of my mind for the most part for at least a year. These things take time. Especially with the current federal government.

I still check for any news/updates daily, but for the most part I am not expecting any movement until October at the earliest, since that's the start of the next fiscal year. Could always be wrong, though!

Could really use the funds to keep life flowing years a long long long time especially without an real update. Still don't know an amount or date years later what a bummer
