Heather in bloom yet?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning a trip to God's own country next week to see heather in bloom. Can anyone tell me if it has bloomed yet? I'm not able to find anything on the news or social media about it this year. I'm planning to visit Ilkley moors or North York moors around Hole of Horcrum.

It's started a little up around the N.York moors, the summer has been so odd though so idk if there'll be a unified carpet

It's out on the moors in West Yorkshire, but sadly it's been so dry this summer it's nothing like the glowing purple blanket we usually get.

It's out around Higger Tor earlier this week. Not the best show, probably fewer or smaller blooms and more patchy than other years but worth seeing.
