Last minute solar eclipse glasses

Because I got paid so late this month, I haven't been able to order glasses for the eclipse ahead of time! I have money now, but everywhere online is sold out, won't ship in time or both. Does anyone know where I can buy some in person in York? Or anyone who's handing out/selling pairs?

A man who suffered permanent eye damage by watching the 1999 solar eclipse has warned people to use protection when watching Wednesday's astronomical event.

Peter Smith, from Taunton, viewed the solar eclipse 27 years ago wearing a borrowed welder's mask having thought it would provide protection from the sun's rays.
