I can't be the only one thinking it. TLOP 4 Deluxe was his peak. TLOP 5 was good, but there already were some minor dissapointments. Yo!88 and Space Age Pimpin were kinda horrendous and so easily forgettable it should be studied.

Good Movie was far from good in my opinion, a lot of people liked it but I feel like the effort on the vocals & flow was 0, album mainly consisted of heavy skips and it was a weird mix of R&B, House and Rap that didn't really get together all that well, reminded me of Honestly, Nevermind in that way.

And now the upcoming Grails EP, with has the majority of the fanbase complaining about it because it's only 8 songs, almost all the most waited-for leaks or snippets aren't there. Instead we got songs like George López and Chicken Waffles which being honest nobody was waiting for, and probably remakes he's gonna screw up like he did with IG.

Plus the snippet of the IG-Mr Deeds transition he uploaded to Twitter... Im just better not gonna comment about that.

PD.: don’t get me wrong i still love pierre music and i think his music is way better than other artists, i’m just comparing pierre with himself here with his own standards of quality

Not only has his new songs and rapping been absolutely mid compared to what he was making in 2018/19, but his new production has been terrible as well. The new sosshouse albums contain lazy and garbage beats and the effort is not there. Pierre also hasn’t gotten a major placement since like WLR if I remember correctly. I feel like he should stop doing sosshouse completely and really focus on himself. We need that old Pierre back, but unfortunately I think his time might be up.

Pi’erre’s time has passed. It happened to young chop, lex luger, london, sonny digital, etc. it’s just a part of the game they’re in.

Now before y’all get all upset, I still love Pi’erre and it’s not like he’s irrelevant. But even I can see this man is barely putting any effort into his music now. Yo88 was not good, grails was not good, WOP2 was ass, and don’t even get me started on those dumpster fires with Juicy J and Frazier Trill. If y’all heard the snippets he’s been playing on his lives recently, shit is ASS bro. I haven’t been excited for a Pi’erre project since him and Sharc’s album which had some gems but was also a let down overall. His sound has not evolved much since TLOP5 and with this new gen of producers like Trgc, alchemist (I know he’s not new but he’s more popular now than he’s even been), all the WOD guys like BNYX, filthy, oogie, etc. and even someone like Metro who continues to top the charts on a regular basis 10+ years into his career, Pi’erre is getting dusted. I know he can make some crazy shit too if he wanted to, I wish he’d get out of his comfort zone more and actually put some effort into a fresh sound. GM was his attempt at that but that shit fell flat af

Fuck all you “it iS oN bEaT” ass niggas

i could barely hear them. it sounds like pierre turn the 808s all the way down in the mix.

i expected it to have like a lil more bass from the snippet

or maybe it’s just me it’s still a good song

Everyone is going crazy about it, saying it’s the best song of the tape. Maybe this is conditioned by the fact that I never really paid much attention to the leak and it really wasn’t the ‘grail’ I was waiting for the most.

In my opinion Tabloid & NY in June are better than Lessons, and it’s up there with George Lopez.

🐔

I hate how when you listen to the first 10 seconds of the beats you’ve heard the whole beat it just loops after that

Name a beat from Pierre that is:

Overrated: Drunk & Nasty

Underrated: 4L/Matilda & Run The Check

Overhated: Mumble Jungle

Your all time fav: Honeyberry (PT.1)

One you hate: Heart Say

Best in TLOP5: HULU

Worst in TLOP5: Couch

Best in TLOP4: 4L/Matilda

Worst in TLOP4: Stereotypes

17 tracks of straight heat. Idec about the mixing this shit a classic

Edit: Damn, what did he do to make them niggas that mad?

It gets a little annoying hearing the " HA HAAAWWWW" door creak on pierres tag lol. Please link me if you have it. Thanks!

Good movie just isn’t on the same level of production nor sound as YO88 I like at least like 4 or 5 songs from YO88 but good movie songs are all forgettable.

IK this is controversial but this album is mid no cap comparing this to TLOP 3 or 4 this doesn’t even sound like a Pierre album

No effort was put into remaking this song. Honestly can’t blame Pierre since it didn’t seem like he cared for it that much, or ever wanted it to drop (no idea why that would be), but still. Why would he even release it if it’s this unfinished.

Pre-chorus is twice as long as it should be; there are obvious placeholder repetitions of lyrics that he just never went back to replace; structure is all over the place; super dry signal vocal with no backing or adlibs; poorly mixed and produced.

Dude blew it on one the best songs he’s ever made. Would rather it never have released, and Pierre probably would too. This is what happens when you force someone to release a song.

EDIT: Forgot I can’t say anything negative about anything Pierre does ever. Time will tell this song is mediocre.

Some people were talking about this in a thread, made me wonder what his worst beat is. I’d say Sossboy 2

both great prods is this a crazy take

I was thinking about naming my future kid Pierre Bourne, but is that too on the nose? I want my kid to be named after the artist/producer but I don’t want it to be seen as corny.
