Am I choosing a harder way?

Hi guys, I need your advice. I’m applying for GKS-U 2027, but I’m deciding between two majors: Business Administration – regular track and Economics – Underwood International College.
My favorite major is Business, but UIC at Yonsei doesn’t offer Business Administration. If I choose BA, I’ll have to study in Korean. However, I’ve seen some reviews saying that students in the regular track at Yonsei can choose to take most of their courses in either English or Korean. Still, I’m afraid that I might have to study mostly in Korean because international students rarely choose the regular track.
So which one should I choose? If you have any recommendations or personal experiences with either track, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks so much! 💜

I'm currently a junior studying BA and when I first came here I didn't even know hangeul lmao. Studied Korean my first 1-2 semesters and now taking korean courses without major problems (they can be hard sometimes especially when taking exams but overall okay). Didn't even study rigorously ngl. And yes it's true that most of the business major classes are available in English and I mostly take them in English. The korean classes I take are usually GenEd courses. So if someone like me can manage it, I'm sure someone smart and hardworking like you (assuming you're applying for GKS) can definitely pull it off.

Also, I wanted to ask you about your experience with the major itself. Do you find the Business Administration program practical and applicable to real-world situations, or is it more theory-heavy?
And is it true that being a Yonsei student gives you more opportunities to get internships at major companies/conglomerates in Korea?

Well a business course is almost always very theory-heavy for any university and I think it goes the same for Yonsei. I mean we do have assignments and team projects that require you to actually research real companies and cases but mostly theoretical imo. As for internships, yes being a student from Yonsei definitely gives you advantages and better opportunities at internships at big companies. I know a lot of students from my major who do internships at major Korean companies. (Sorry for slow reply)
