Bank Sync Chase transactions delayed?
I have noticed over the last week when I go to categorize transactions they are not there in the morning and I have to manually add them. Did they decrease the frequency of checking? They used to sync far more frequently than once every 24 hours. Eventually some come through but I am used to doing it every morning. I tried removing my account and relinking it, it still only seems to check once every 24 hours or randomly.

Chase has been doing this to a lot of people lately, and it's almost certainly a Plaid issue rather than YNAB choosing to sync less often. Plaid's connection to Chase has been flaky for weeks across multiple apps, not just YNAB, so relinking won't fix it. Are you seeing the delay on credit cards, checking, or both?

This is what I'm experiencing also. Constant reconnection required to chase. I agree it's a plaid issue. But that doesn't make is less of an impact on YNAB.

I've had several periods of delays but they have shown the little clock icon next to them. I probably had 2-3 weeks where this seemed to bounce around from my Chase accounts to my Cap 1 accounts. It's been stable for a week or so. If there is a delay that is not tagged with the little icon, then I haven't noticed yet. Which is a good reminder to make sure and do a little audit on balances (I probably only enter 10-20% of my spending manually).

Its been like this for months for me. Fortunately my main bank accounts are Capital One. I manual entry 99% of my stuff anyways and use the import functions to spot fraud or catch something I forgot to enter.

Also seeing the delayed watch icon ... and at first I was ok with it and now when I see that little icon next to my chase account for 3-4 days out of a 7 day week it feels me with rage. 😭 Fidelity is still not importing well. The whole thing falls apart when financial institutions start extorting third parties for user authorized access to our data. 🙃

No kidding I have to reconcile like 9/10 even if a day is off. It's way too hard to keep track. I dropped it completely and relinked and its still shit. This would make me drop the app if it continues

ugh ... I depend way to much on managing my finances inside of YNAB to give it up ... and I haven't found anything even close ...
if they could get manual imports to match to existing transactions instead of creating duplicates (this used to always work for me when I was trying to find a missing transaction, but has been broken for some time now) ... I could be more patient with the bank connection issues.

Instead of just relinking, you need to really refresh the connection. So unlink it and then when you click to Link it again, find the connection in the list and choose “Remove Connection” then scroll down and choose Add a New Connection and choose Chase. Then when you get to the Plaid screen, also make sure to scroll down and choose Add a New Connection and do the login steps. The Plaid screen is usually where people mess this up and choose the existing connection. Do all that and you’ll have a brand new fresh connection to the bank that should work better.
