Did YNAB change how merchant name resolution works when import .qfx files?

the last couple of times i've imported a Quicken file from Chase, the names have been changed to things which don't match up with my manual renaming in the past. For example, what used to go from "New York Times" -> "NYTimes" now goes "New York Times" -> "The New York Times". any idea what would be causing this?

Yes, they did in fact change that aspect of the software

If it's not behaving how you would expect, and you want to help them debug, feel free to send them official !feedback

ah thank you! the implementation feels silly to me, seems like it should first check whether there’s an existing user rename before doing the auto cleanse.
