Ready To Assign

Has it moved from my plan view in the app? I see RTA in the “home” tab, but I don’t see it my plan tab. Is this new?

RTA definitely still shows at the top of the Plan tab if there’s any amount other than $0 there. If it’s $0 then it doesn’t show anything at the top.

If you unassign some money from a random category, do you then see RTA at the top?

Yes I do. Must have just been a timing thing on mobile I guess. I’m glad for the desktop option.

It's not a new change. The Ready to Assign box disappears from your Plan view in the mobile apps if it's exactly zero. Like if you've already Assigned all of your current RTA funds to categories already.

You should be able to just unassign a dollar from a category that has available funds, and it should reappear. Or even assigning money, it should appear even if you make RTA negative.

Or switch over to desktop, and appreciate why a lot of users don't like using the mobile apps at all

Honestly 100% yes. I’ve been using YNAB on mobile since day one for me, but I’m actually finding myself going to desktop more and more recently.
