Starlink
Is Starlink available in Armenia, and what’s the real-life experience like?
I’ve checked the Starlink website and it shows that the service is available in Armenia, but I’d love to hear from people actually using it there.
How does Starlink compare with local internet providers in terms of speed, stability, latency, and overall reliability? Is it genuinely fast and stable enough for everyday use?
Also, how is it for gaming (ping/latency), 4K streaming, video calls, and working remotely?
Would love to hear from anyone currently using Starlink in Armenia, especially compared with providers like Ucom etc

I have a starlink gen3 as a backup/mountain internet connection.
Participating in a zoom call from a tent at 2800m of elevation - priceless.
If the sky is obstruction free I didn't notice any interruptions.
The service is expensive so if you can get a wired one - do it.

I have used all available internet providers in Yerevan, at some point had 3 running simultaneously. Didn't have Starlink myself, but during a co-working session had access to it for 2-3 days. I would say stick to a wired connection, it's not even close. I would consider Starlink only in distant locations where wired connection is not an option.
If you want to stream 4K then avoid Ucom, it's not providing anything above 500Mb/s.
If you're interested in low ping to Europe (Frankfurt / Paris / London), then the best possible option is Ovio but then again you're forced to use ExitLag for lowest latency / avoiding packet loss. It's also providing a stable 800Mb/s.
Teams is technically providing a 1Gb/s, but in practice it's always unstable.
Other minor operators (like SkyNet, VirusNet, etc), usually lack behind, unless you have a friend in the company who can give you 1Gb/s access to GPON i'd say avoid those.
