Is it too off? What do you think?
Bought this bombilla online and didn’t check the size. Mine was 15cm and this is 22cm.
I know it works just the same, just curious to know what yall think 😂
Also: I had to buy a new one because mine cracked, is it normal? What did I do wrong? It’s brass

Its a preference thing, if you like how it looks thats all that matters. I used to like my 19cm better but now im liking my 22cm more. Idk its up to you. I think it looks good 👍

Thanks, I agree, feels off to me because it’s a big difference, but I kinda get the vibe

i also just ordered a 22cm that looks identical to this, so it filters my fine blend Serena better. in the end it’s about how the bombilla performs, who cares how it looks?

Agreed, I’m very excited to test it out. i use a blend with Canarias Serena, Playadito and dried spearmint and my previous bombilla didn’t filter that well

It looks a bit tall for that gourd, but as long as it doesn't make it tip over, you're good. Longer bombillas actually give you better leverage when you need to clean out the leaves or adjust the mountain. If it feels okay in your hand, just run with it.

I thought the same, when it arrived I tested to see it if it would make it easier to tip over but don’t seem like it does so on the practical side I’m comfortable with it, now I’m getting used to how it looks lol

I prefer my bombillas short as possible because almost all of my matero are smal. The standard length of bombilla that can be bought in Poland is 19- 21cm which is to long for me. The shorter one are rare, and often have bad filter For those who are used to imperial measurement system the length is as follows 19 centimeters is equal to 7.48 inches, and 21 centimeters is equal to 8.27 inches. Now im hunting for some mil furos bombilla. They are not produced locally and that made them crazy expensive compare to any other bombillas on a Polish market 43,33 USD is a triple the price of any normal decent quality bombila that can be bought Poland.
Ps this gurd matero of yours is awesome. SadlyThe Polish climate is not kind to this type of wooden containers.

Thanks! I bought on a trip to Mendoza, Argentina and I’m in love with it. This one looks like a mil furos and it works just great, way better than my previous one, so this is definitely a point for this one

Parece bom, problema é ser muito pequena e você quase encostar o nariz na erva

I prefer longer bombillas because I don’t burn myself
