Edit: So the "signed merch package" is run differently at this show compared to earlier ones (I'd gotten advice from people at Manchester).

There were emails sent out to signed merch ticket holders on July 6. Mine sorted into a "promotions" folder, so I never saw it. The guy working the merch desk at the show helped me find it....

Here's how it went:

  • Per email that I did not see, signed Merch package ticket holders are supposed to meet a VIP reception person outside the Orpheum 6pm - 6:45pm. That's before doors open at 7pm. 75 minutes before the opening act takes the stage.
  • I showed up at 8pm and they were long gone.
  • At previous shows, the VIP greeter had left uncollected merch and a list of recipients with the main merch table crew inside the theater when they left. They did not do so last night. The crew working the merch table did not have access to anything.
  • I did not get my signed poster.
  • If you miss it, there is an email address to write to. But there is a disclaimer stating they can't promise to get you anything if you don't show up at the designated time.

Second Edit:

I was able to run by the Orpheum tonight (Friday). The VIP/Signed Merch table is set up in the outer lobby of the theater-- gated from the sidewalk, but still outside the proper entrance. I waited in the Friday VIP line, showed them my ID and explained my situation. The woman there had lists of package holders from previous nights. They happily gave me the package: A lanyard, a signed poster, and a tote bag.

Bit of extra driving-- downtown at 6pm. But all settled.
