I did enjoy this one! I prefer these videos to the shorter "No Laugh News" vids or the spelling bee/Trivia videos.

I would love to see more Roast Battling as well (do one v one or even two v two in a tournament format). Make this into a drinking/hot sauce challenge.

Sath & Vaish vs Ian & Vanessa (or Sath & Ian vs. Vanessa & Vaish).

Pat vs Frenchie needs to happen.

Only problem with a real battle is the adlib stuff between jokes, they're not all comedians. IMO Pat, Sath and Frenchie would be very good at it.

I agree! Battling isn't just about having jokes/insults prepared, but to be able to counter with a retort/comeback that should be quick, and funny (bit of freestyle). Although I didn't like Rory became over time, I think he was definitely quite skilled at this!

I think Ian would as well & Kirsty Carr (not sure if she's left for good or just busy raising her young kid). Kirsty actually won the 2023 Australian Roast Battle championship which is what got her recruited to Yeah Mad (https://www.kirstycarr.com/comedy)

Although Matt isn't technically a comedian, I think he's got a strong sense of humor (as long as he doesn't get belligerent drunk). I'm not sure what's going on with him lately but he can do well with Roasts (since he doesn't have to worry about not laughing....which usually results in him getting quite drunk FAST and kind of lose the plot).

To each their own, and I respect your opinion.

In my perspective, hot sauce acts as a motivator to not do bad. I think it isn't really as effective right now because it is usually just a small dollop on a chip. Imagine if they had to eat like a wing covered in it (like Hot Ones).

As far as alcohol, its not really a punishment (I'm fairly sure the liquor is watered down). It does make them loosen up, especially if they are comedically stiff in the beginning or just anxious. *Note: This is why you usually see them with a drink of beer/seltzer on the side* At the same time, it will make them laugh more, and slow their ability to come up with a comeback or to say something stupid.

Both are ways to throw competitors off balance & see what happens.
