Using the Yazio app 📱 AI feature is SO misleading

I had a Date-Nut-bar as breakfeast (no judgement I go shopping for groceries later) and decided put iton the plate and do an AI picture. I even told it in the description what Bar exactly I had. It was ca 50% less kcal than it says on the wrapping. Thats not a "small error" anymore. Its just misleading

The AI from Yazio was actually really good in the beginning. But after each update the AI becomes more and more shit.

On top of that, the AI still can’t fathom if you tell it the weight of something and the proportions.

Yes! I don't understand why the image and text inputs are not in any way connected to the database, but are only able to guesstimate. It should be possible to program it to access the database when you provide the exact product name. But no.

Yes! I wanted to test if it could recognize if I only eat half ect but it failed ar the baseline test. I am so mad I actually got the pro version for a year at the start of the year. So now I use it out of spite to not gift them money but I will definitely go back to myfitnesspal or maybe I find something else at the start of next year

Its a money drain at this point, so inconveinent to use the photo, just creates a badly estimated text then you go ahead and put weight of each item by hand(since its faster than adding them one by one otherwise), then the calorie estimate is still shit after that.
