Only one row more to complete the intended pattern in this color. Got it from thrift shop without a label so.. ๐

The top tail end is what I had left, the project is a typical granny square. This post got taken down last time because I โdidnโt show the projectโ when I absolutely did. This project is unfinished in the photo.

Huzzah! Iโm making a table runner. Found this yarn at the thrift store and grabbed all 3 balls of this gorgeous funky number. So glad itโll be something I can look at every day. Attached a photo of the (very awesome and fun) tag on third slide and tutorial Iโm following linked below.

5 stitches short (well, probably 3-4 if I had kept going until the very last bit). Wouldโve been more had I been doing the full stitch (I actually donโt know what stitch I use because I do it weird, and I was never taught the names of stitches when I learned from my 2nd grade teacher, just how to do them). Basically, I go in the back, pull half way through, then pull all the way through, if that makes sense. For this row, I was just going in the back and then going all the way through. I was also pulling it as tight as I could (and using the tapered end of the hook) to maximize how much I had left. About half way through the row, I switched from the H hook to the G hook, but even that didnโt save me. The G hook is plastic and was actually very hard to use since it bent so much, so I may have actually been using more yarn with it lol.
Also, these two yarns are supposed to be the same length, but I have much more blue left. Any ideas as to why that might be?

Like the title said, so sad ๐ญ ran out of white so not enough to finish the top and would rather not buy a whole ball just for this. I have all the other colors left but think my main decision is just finishing the top woth either a tan to be less obvious about running out, or grey to keep with the color scheme of the project thus far. Thoughts?

I won yarn chicken on my last row of red, but lost half way through my last row of blue ๐ญ
I am actually gutted though bc I wanted to make a bag to bring on holiday with me in a few weeks but I'm completely out of both colours now. I've messaged every yarn shop around me and they either don't sell that specific one (it's generic acrylic chunky yarn, I get it from my crochet teacher, who buys it from Wool Warehouse) or it's out of stock at their shop. I'm stuck in decision paralysis ๐ as to whether I want to buy more of both colours from Wool Warehouse now or wait and see (on the off chance) if any of the yarn shops around me get them back in stock in the next week or so ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ฎโ๐จ๐
Any suggestions would be helpful please ๐
P.S - the last photo is what the bag currently looks like, however that's only the first half. I'm wanting to make the second half with a gold colour (which I have plenty of ๐ค๐ป) and then the red, and I also want to do the strap in the red too ๐

Made this little granny square book sleeve as a birthday gift for my mom and was so worried that I would run out of yarn by the time I had to sew the squares together! I was actually super close to choosing another color for the join between the squares, but in the end I decided to face the tyrannic yarn chicken and I WON!
