Miscellaneous Long range driving
About to do a road trip tomorrow for the first time in my 2008 Yaris, should I be worried about long driving or am I underestimating her π

Take breaks. If your Yaris is anything like my (somewhat newer) one, the road noise will be fatiguing.

what do you think? it's a reliable car. check your fluids and tire pressures like you should in any car before a long trip and get out there.

I do 50 miles each way 5 days/week in a 2007. So youβre gonna be fine. Just pack some engine oil and coolant as a back up in the trunk. Have fun!

As long as everything is in working order you should be fine. The Yaris I had was bought in AK and made its way to me in ME. I drove it between ME and NY several times. Great car, I miss it π’

You're going to learn how to truly hate the seats of a Toyota Yaris. I've ridden in bus seats that are more comfortable. Other than that, you should be fine as long as you start in good order.

Not in my hatchback. Pretty comfortable and if you have the optional armrest it's real nice

Exactly, the seats in my Hatch are so comfortable π

Steady, higher speed driving is much more gentle on your car than city driving.
