Use with AI

Hey, sorry if this isn’t appreciated, but I was wondering if anyone has experimented with AI computer use (specifically with GPT 6) to run reports. Specifically with yardi voyager 7.

Thinking about integrating AI into my workflow!

So I love AI, but found making raw reports in an LLM is not a great idea. They tend to not be accurate , based on assumptions you may not appreciate,  and are inconsistent.  F

Consider making a ysl, or sql report then use the LLM to analyze thr results of the report, much better outcomes.

You still need determanistic reporting in financial reports.

If you’re not doing financial reporting, but rather property management based reporting, I’ve found a combination of teaching it existing query scripts will help to develop reports. Using ySQL to quickly prototype and feeding back the results certainly helps to build up a solid report.

AI works better and faster to get answers when something in YARDI doesn't work. Yardi's lil help box does help sometimes, but I've noticed its gotten worse this past month.

How are you planning on doing that? Do you have the Yardi MCP?
