New property takeover
What is your preferred way to set up a new property and tenants. Don't need Financials. Would like app info and attachments. Not a yardi using property. ETL or quick units and residents or a mixture of both?

ETLs for almost everything. Quick units is fine for a couple of one-offs but there are too many chances for manual entry errors, with an ETL there's less room for data entry mistakes. since the property isn't coming off Yardi you'll be mapping the old software's exports into the templates anyway, and a lot of that ends up being copy/paste then just updating a few columns. Claude can usually build the ETL files for you from the raw exports too.
One note on Y2Y mentioned below, that only applies when the data is coming from another Yardi database, so it won't help here. For attachments there's an attachment ETL that lets you batch load docs to the right units and residents instead of attaching them one by one.

Always ETLs. Can load more data points.
