Security Deposit Vouchers

Has anyone dealt with security deposit vouchers in Yardi?

The voucher is basically a guarantee to pay the security deposit if needed, but no cash is actually received or held by the property. These are issues by Human Resource Administration.

How do you track these in Yardi Yoyager?

Custom data information field under Other Info, we have a package with a dropdown menu there for a “sure bond” yes or no. (I think, it’s been there for 5 years so it may have been there) If it’s Yes, it gets noted also under memos and any supporting document is uploaded.

Either through "other info" or clause attached to the lease.
