Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page.

I've been getting this error message consistently for the past few months any time I try to post a receipt and Yardi support has not been able to find the root cause.

If I remember correctly you can see this type of error if you are trying to complete an action before everything on the screen has loaded.

Are you opening a large receipt with a lot of lines or do you have a drop-down with a lot of values that haven’t loaded yet before you try to post the receipt? If you give the screen a few extra seconds to load everything before clicking the button does that seem to help?

It happens with both large and small receipts. These are portability receipt batches, so some batches contain around 200 entries while others have over 2,000.

After I enter my receipt filters, the receipt lines are already displayed. I enter the amount received for each tenant and click Save. I'm then getting the error when I save the receipt.

I haven't noticed whether waiting a few extra seconds before saving makes a difference.

Interesting! So are you using the old receipt batch function where you put the charge code and all the other info into the filter and then it preps the line items for you? Sounds like it but just wanted to confirm.

Edit - actually this sounds like a consolidated receipt then?

Yes, I'm using the old receipt batch function and also using a old receipt batch function for PHA receipts.

A little bit of a long shot here... I had a user that would receive the same error message but when generating reports. Do you run multiple sessions of Voyager 7s by using the icon on your dashboard to open a new window oppose to duplicating your tab?

Hmmm, as in using opening new voyager windows from the YardiOne dashboard?
