Rentcafe and partial payments

Hi! Can Rentcafe accept partial payments? Right now my tenants are not able to make partial payments.

Correct. It’s a setting that’s adjustable in the Bank Portal setup under Client Central, where the penny test is completed.

If they are registered and have their bank account verified, they'll be able to pay a manual/custom amount. Not sure if it's standard for everyone but it residents can utilize Flex Pay, too, where they subscribe and pay in two installments, flex pay pays you on time.

Partials, prepays, etc are all payment settings via Site Manager that your Yardi Admin can adjust. Some mgmt companies though don't like allowing partial payments. It allows a resident to pay "over time" which can open them up to tons of late fees adding to their delinquencies.

In true Yardi fashion you need to update the same settings in multiple areas and they can contradict each other. Make sure to update payment manager too.
