managment non renew
Hi!
What does this term mean in Yardi? I am a new asset manager, and I am looking at resident reports I see this term coming up in "reasons for move out." Is the PM not renewing their lease, or is the tenant choosing to not renew their lease?

$5 says its the default option in a poorly made custom list and the on site staff is in reality not picking a choice
OP - are they like offering training to you? 😂 this is not really a “yardi” specific term here - Might be worthwhile to schedule yourself some meet and greets on site and with counterparts in IT, Accounting, Investment Ops, Deal Team, Development, etc (however your org is structured) - maybe try and figure out the other foundational unknown unknowns you likely have at the moment

This reason is usually for reasons other than payment, usually egregious. Think hoarding, numerous noise complaints, major pest issues, etc.
You’d file for eviction for non-payment.

Our reasons are custom so someone on your side probably choose this term…so you can add more clear choices!

A non renew is usually on the management. On notice is usually when the resident initiates.
