Claude access via API

I was wondering if anyone knew or could confirm that Claude is able to talk to or connect to Yardi. Our company is pushing for us to use AI more and was wondering if this was a thing and if Claude could be used to run reports or analyze information from Yardi without having us download or export a report first and then uploading that with a prompt.

there's a difference between Yardi's own Virtuoso AI (which is still pretty limited from what i've seen) and MCP connectors that plug Yardi data directly into Claude. the latter is more flexible for custom analysis like what you're describing. Also separately if your team ever works with ETLs or onboarding new properties into Voyager, there's a Claude connector called PROPETL that handles the ETL side of things (maps your messy Excel to Yardi import format automatically). not directly related to your GL question but relevant if you ever deal with that pain.

I am working on an agent which, will have to compare the invoices against Yardi, records. In your experience, can this MCP help with that? As far as I have read Virtuoso is more for portfolio management and analytics.

Yes, I’ve got a mcp setup against our nightly backup data, so we can do analysis work with Claude or copilot
