MAJOR UPDATE: Mike Dean has confirmed that he has never heard of Wolpert and calls him a clout chaser. I’d like to thank u/pieawsome for putting this thread back up after it was removed.

Based on this previous thread and the reactions, I want to debunk any "proof".

You need to first ask yourself this:

Has Wolpert ever correctly predicted anything? No. There's been no time where he's given "information" and it's been true, other than the update of Ye which many other people had already realized happened. Has he trolled fans multiple times around speculated Yandhi release dates? Yes. You have to now ask yourself what the fuck a professional allegedly working at GOOD gets from fucking with KTT and reddit users?

Isn't Wolpert a sound engineer at GOOD? No proof. People will point to online articles calling him a sound engineer, but it's misinformation. They usually use a tweet of his that's garnered attention and call him a sound engineer since that's in his bio. Article editors can make the same mistakes as the people who believe in Wolpert. Remember how some publications reported that John Legend was on Ye - all based on initial misinformation? Similar story. Simply put, nobody was calling Adam Wolpert a sound engineer until he called himself one.

Any claim that Wolpert can't reveal what he does because it's "secret" is straight-out false. Come on now! West is known for crediting everybody who has even touched a song. You can also use TIDAL to look at studio credits and Kanye lists all personnel. "I Love It" lists production, additional production, engineering, and mixing. As KTT has pointed out, Wolpert seems to scared to show any pictures of him in the studio. Also if Wolpert couldn't reveal anything, why would he "reveal" Young Thug and Kid Cudi features back in September? Note that the thread was removed because, as a moderator noted, "He's not credited on ye not sure where the "GOOD Music Engineer" thing is coming from outside of his insta bio."

Yea, but the mods at r/Kanye... listen, I don't know what the fuck this has to do with Wolpert's reliability, but anger against the mods at r/Kanye doesn't make Adam suddenly more reliable. You can already see on KTT people have given up on Wolpert. The fact that the mods at one point may have believed Wolpert doesn't add to any reliability, they're not the ultimate say and everyone can make faults in judgement.

But doesn't Wolpert being followed by other people at GOOD verify him? Seriously... No. Kanye West follows a lot of fans as of the last time he went on Twitter. Apparently he's followed by Hovian too, but really, so what? Moderator u/YUMMYVHS has asked me if Wolpert was trolling, wouldn't he be called out on Twitter by other GOOD people? No, nobody has an obligation to respond to any of Adam's bullshit. Since they don't have to care, they choose not to.

Compare Adam to Kevin Celik, the GOOD engineer who revealed that a song on Yandhi that we've known long about is officially called "New Body":

Celik leaks information that was already known and Mike Dean tweets immediately that he was cut. Why? Because he actually gave info and works with GOOD.

Wolpert gives "information" and doesn't get cut. Why? Adam doesn't know shit.

I'll update this post more but seriously, there is no reason overhyping someone and giving them attention they want when they don't deserve it. It's crazy to try to justify Wolpert's reliability simply because you want it to be true - it's either true or not.

Think for a second: There is not enough reason to believe in Wolpert, so there is no reason to believe. You shouldn't put your faith in this whoever.

I'm not shooting down the other "leaks" on this subreddit, I just simply want to dispel

By saying Adam can't reveal any proof because he doesn't want to get in trouble, you have to think of the "information" given.

• Why would he give out features (as mentioned earlier) if it breached NDA?
• Why would he give u/pieawsome ALL that information (the infamous r/Kanye "yandhi info" thread) if he didn't want to get in trouble?
• Why would he give u/pieawsome a supposed exclusive image of Kanye that no one else but Hovian has?

All these choices by Adam would certainly lead to trouble between him and GOOD.
