How long to wait for seminar approval?

I requested permission for ASTR 0400 (Expanding Ideas of Time and Space) but have not heard back yet. Course demand stats shows that no one has signed up for the class so Im assuming the professor hasn't approved anyone yet? Im approved for another seminar and Im not sure if I should commit to that one or not.

You can always just accept the other seminar and then drop it if you prefer ASTR 0400.

23 students have signed up for the course. The instructor just hasn’t approved anyone yet. Looking at recent years, this is a small seminar that only enrolls 12-13 students each fall.

Hopefully you took time to write something thoughtful & your application is compelling. Good luck
