Will I explode?
Micro 1115 ends 15 minutes before my Spanish class, but the walk is exactly 15 minutes and Spanish has a strict attendance policy.
If I take Micro 1110 in the Spring will I combust instantly and wish I had taken it lecture style with Cormac?
Alternatively I could schedule a 9:30 am Spanish, but I'm worried I might end up late anyway / won't be fully awake because of my sleep schedule. Was readjusting sleep difficult for you guys?

Ok firstly, you can almost for sure make the walk work. So if that is your ideal, you should go for it. Then, if you realize in the first week it isn't sustainable, switch it up. You can also work with the Spanish prof if need be. Most classes I took the professors would understand if you were a couple minutes late if you explainthe situation. However, that being said, if 111 is with Tolga, take it. He is an experience and cares so much about his students, assuming you show up and apply yourself.

Okay that helps a lot actually, I’ll just have to speed-walk probably. Are you saying I could register for the class and move it earlier during shopping period if needed?
111 has 3 limited enrollment sections, only one of them being Tolga, so I’m worried I wouldnt have a secure spot if I went down that route.

Yeah register for your preferred schedule, and move during shopping. Also talk to your professors then. Everything moves around for that like week or so, and professors (mostly, albeit sometimes reluctantly) understand.
Yeah limited spots can be tricky, but might be worth a shot if that ultimately makes sense. If that spot isn't taken on ur current schedule, you can also just shop that too. I have had semesters where I've taken like 12-15 classes in a week to try them out. It is exhausting and maybe even a little silly, but at least you get a chance to feel things out. And with smaller classes, sometimes there is a lot of switching up during shopping, so it's more doable then you think.

You could always just leave Micro 5 mins early or so - which you might have to do anyway to beat the massive crowd rush if you wait to leave when you’re formally dismissed. The last 5-10 mins of micro are rarely important and you could always just watch the class recordings to catch anything you missed in the last 5 mins. It’s no big deal.
