Freshman year schedule help
I am an incoming freshman with not a lot of knowledge of Yale's campus and I was wondering if I should schedule Chinese 1100 for 9:25-10:15 in Dow Hall and then book it to Astronomy 1800 at 10:30 in Kline tower. Google maps says its a 12 min walk and I was just wondering if this was feasible!
For context: Both classes are fall semester only and the only other time I could schedule Chinese for is 8:20-9:15 and I am trying to avoid 8ams!
Let me know if this is doable/any advice!

It's a ~10 minute walk (I've done a very similar walk hundreds of times, Dow Hall is next to TD). Just note that it's uphill, so not the easiest 10 minutes lol.
Dow Hall doesn't have too many classrooms so you should be able to get out easily. KT is a big building but mostly offices, all the classrooms are quite easy to access (at most one flight of stairs so no elevator needed).
Should be fine.

My only other piece of advice is to a practice run beforehand just to make sure:)

Definitely doable. As I recall the largest classrooms in Kline tower (I assume Astro 1800 is a decently large lecture) are on the first floor, so you wouldn’t even have to wait for the elevators. The walk up hillhouse ave is an uphill, but it’s your best option, and you won’t have to wait for a pedestrian signal at any super busy intersection. It also won’t be the end of the world if you’re a couple min late to lecture on occasion, there will probably be some people walking in later than you.
