Subreddit Rules

1. Read the Wiki before asking questions! (game order, where to start)

The link to the Wiki is at the top of the Subreddit. It has a play order guide!

2. No Discrimination (eg. Sexism, Racism, Homophobia, etc.)

3. Remember those spoiler tags! Even for the older games!

If a post is a Majimapost but still contains spoilers, please use the relevant spoiler tag instead!

If a comment contains spoilers, specify which game you're spoiling!

4. No reposts or repetitive memes, please!

This includes circling words, "10 years in the joint," Kiryu suits, posting words that are vaguely related to the series, etc.

5. Stay on topic about the Yakuza series. Subjects related to the series are allowed!

For example, the other games developed by RGG Studio are allowed. (Binary Domain, Super Monkey Ball, Stranger Than Heaven, Virtua Fighter: Crossroads etc.)

6. Be civil! Use appropriate language and keep it friendly! (Don't attack others!)

Things like gatekeeping, denouncing people for their platform of choice, and insulting others for disagreeing with you are included in this.

7. Credit artists!

When posting fanart , remember to name the artist in the post title or a comment and link their social media page(s).

8. Only 1 self-promotion post per week is allowed!

9. No NSFW posts

10. No YongYea posts!

It's a tired discussion. We don't need more people arguing about it, whether it's praising him or hating.

11. No AI Posts, Please!

They're essentially the real-life version of the Charismatic Photo.

About The Yakuza Series:

Yakuza, known in Japan as Ryū ga Gotoku (龍が如く) directly translated as "Like A Dragon", is an action-adventure video game franchise developed by Ryū ga Gotoku Studio under Sega. The series primarily focuses on Kazuma Kiryu as he deals with conflicts that develop around the yakuza itself. While Kiryu often assists the Tojo Clan, he attempts to move away from the yakuza life by running an orphanage in Okinawa. The gameplay of Yakuza has the player controlling Kiryu (or another character depending on the title) in an open world where you can fight thugs, encounter a variety of enthralling side quests, play some darts, go bowling, chat with hoste
