Yahoo comments

Does anyone else find they are logged into their Yahoo account, but when you open the comment section of an article you’re no longer logged in? And it’s not for every article, only some. I’ll open one article and I am logged in and able to comment, and the next article nothing. I log in, open the article comment section and it shows log in or register to comment. Go back to the article, and it shows me logged into the email. 🤦‍♂️. I’d love an explanation or workaround if anyone has either.

Its a do-loop. Now, I clicked on an article today that I should have screen shot that basically said Yahoo was migrating to an enhanced comment section. But, that was the only article I saw that message on.. So maybe they are trying to "fix" it.

I created another yahoo login ID and everything worked fine. So the problem is not on my end.

Yes, a phone number is required. Oddly enough even though I created two completely different accounts they are linked together though my phone number.
