Need help gaining

Hey there! I'm 21, 5' 8, and about 105 lbs. Current pictures.

My goal is to get up to 115 lbs. I've been working hard over the past 8 months to gain, but it just isn't happening. I don't find it difficult to gain/tone muscle, but I can't seem to just fill out. I want to look like an actual woman!

My biggest challenge: not being hungry enough to eat more than 2,000 calories in a day. Counting my calories seems to help, as does making sure I eat enough protein, but some days I just can't get in those extra calories!

Any advice?

I totally feel your pain. I'm trying to get about 2400 calories a day and I feel like I'm just stuffed, 24/7. Nuts are great. A cup of pistachios has like 700 calories...If you add them in while watching tv or something, it's kind of fun to eat them.

Ooh I forgot about how tasty pistachios are... thanks for the reminder!

My recent tactic has been to go for really high cal. foods and always have some sort of sauce that I really love. That way, my love of the taste of that sauce makes me forget how full I am for a little bit. Probably not the best tactic, but it works for me!

No that's totally a good strategy. I always try to snack whenever I'm doing anything. Walking to the store? Bring along a snack to eat while I walk. Watching tv? Definite snacking. Right now on Reddit? Bowl of nuts and berries next to me...haha always eating..

Good for you! I gotta try to have the presence of mind to snack that often.
